Out on the road

Alternate Tuesdays I head off to a little indigenous community called Looma. Takes an hour and a half to get there from Derby...two thirds sealed road and one third dirt. It is a private community where only services are allowed in.

I'm getting very good at the 'steering wheel wave'. With not much passing traffic, whenever someone does go past you wave hello with your finger!

There have been road trains, termite hills, pretty wild flowers, boab trees, long dirt roads, large cattle stations, and wild donkeys along the way.
