About me

Having had the empty nest years in mind as my children blossomed into wonderful and inspiring young adults - it was my intention to resign from my role in NZ, pack up my house, rent it out, and experience travel nursing in remote Australia. Following two short term contracts into the Western Australian outback in 2024 to 'dip my toes in the water' - I turned my dream into reality beginning of 2025.

Empty Nest Adventures is a blog where I can share my stories and update family and friends where I am, what I've seen, what's next, and anything in between!
